With close to 20 years in visual effects, Simon Legrand has established himself as an innovative leader adept at harnessing emerging technologies to transform creative workflows. As Real-time Supervisor at UNTOLD Studios, he has been instrumental in pioneering real-time projects leveraging game engines. His experience spans advertising, television, film and special venues, collaborating with top brands like “PlayStation”, “AFK Arena” and “Netflix”.

Simon recently spearheaded the ground-breaking Virtual Production for Chemical Brothers’ “Live Again” music video and supervised the Unreal-powered short film “Malanca” and Untold’s cloud-based Unreal pipeline. He also ventured into AI, directing efforts on WWF’s acclaimed “Bring Our World Back to Life” project.

Before UNTOLD, Simon contributed to blockbuster franchises including Avatar, Star Wars, and the Marvel Universe, plus films like “Ready Player One”, “Transformers” and “Planet of the Apes”. At UNTOLD, he remains passionate about pushing the boundaries of emerging tech to revolutionize VFX and stays at the forefront of new initiatives in the space.
