Pete Warbis – Framestore

Lead Animator

Pete is one of Framestore’s lead animators, having previously worked at the Moving Picture Company and Industrial Light and Magic. His career so far has included films such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 (lead), Tom and Jerry (lead), Disney’s The One and Only Ivan, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Avengers: Infinity War and Paddington 2.

Pete’s strengths lie in crafting specific performances for characters and creatures. He searches for the context that helps to tell a unique story within each scene and each individual shot.

In his spare time Pete performs in the theatre, having recently played Donkey in Shrek the Musical with the Noda award winning Nomads. He has also played trombone, guitar, piano and percussion for various musicals across the country. Last year Pete took on his most challenging role yet – being a Dad.
