Leah Caldwell – Larian Studios

Cinematic Animation Producer

Leah Caldwell
I’m Leah Caldwell (she/her), the Cinematic Animation Producer at Larian Studios, where I have been working on Baldur’s Gate III for the past 4 years overseeing all things animation and motion capture. One of the founding team members of Cinematic Animation, having grown from a humble team of 5 across the UK & Dublin to a team of 23 spread across the globe.

Leading up to Baldur’s Gate III, I worked at an independent studio called Turbulenz as a Producer on Boundless, a Sandbox MMO. Before becoming a Producer, I worked in Advertising as a Senior Media Planner and Buyer for a National Advertising Agency in Cardiff, which equipped me with the skills needed to work as a Video Game Producer! On the side, I also freelanced as a Community and Operations Manager for Exit 23 Games which makes inclusive miniatures for Tabletop Games such as Bloodbowl.

About Larian Studios

In 1996, in a small office in Ghent, Belgium, Larian Studios was born. Since then, our passion for creating world-class video games has driven the Divinity series – six games that straddle multiple genres and defy expectations. Our first crowdfunded success, Divinity: Original Sin, won over 150 awards and nominations, and the recently-released sequel Divinity: Original Sin 2 launched with a 93 Metacritic rating, as well as over 160 awards (Including the Bafta for Best Multiplayer Game) and counting! Thanks to the success of these two games, our family has grown to over 400 people worldwide, working in our Ghent, Quebec, Dublin, Kuala Lumpur, Guildford and Barcelona studios. Our latest title, Baldur’s Gate 3, was released in 2023 to critical acclaim and is now listed among Metacritic’s Must-Play games.
