Lawrence Bennett – No Ghost

Creative Director

Lawrence Bennett is the Creative Director and co-founder of No Ghost, an immersive story studio based in London. After six years in Visual Effects at DNEG and ILM, keen to return to his creative roots, Lawrence founded No Ghost to push narrative boundaries in emerging mediums.

In 2021, Lawrence wrote “”Madrid Noir””, which won the 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Interactive Media. Recently, Lawrence has been Gameplay Director for The Grand Getaway, a new Wallace and Gromit adventure in Virtual Reality. Outside of interactive stories, Lawrence has a keen interest in theatre, cooking and quizzes.

No Ghost is an award-winning immersive story studio based in London. Our team of 20 artists, developers and writers crafts groundbreaking real-time experiences with emerging technologies. Founded in 2016, No Ghost has since partnered with the likes of Gorillaz, Studio Wayne McGregor and The Guardian.

Bringing stories to life in virtual, augmented and mixed reality, No Ghost pushes the boundaries of interactive narratives. Our work has garnered honours including an Emmy for Outstanding Interactive Media for our VR mystery “”Madrid Noir””, also winning VR Game of the Year at The VR Awards.
