Jude Brownbill

Supervising Animator - Pixar Animation Studios

Since joining Pixar Animation Studios in 2010 Jude Brownbill has animated on the Academy Award©-winning features “Brave,” and “Inside Out,” as well as “Cars 2,” “Monsters University”, “The Good Dinosaur,” and “Incredibles 2.” Jude served as a directing animator on “Cars 3” and is currently supervising animator on Disney and Pixar’s upcoming feature film “Soul,” which is set to release in theatres June 19, 2020.

Prior to Pixar, Jude was a supervising animator on the British television series “Kerwhizz” and directing animator on “Stitch Up Showdown.” Raised in Somerset, England, Jude earned a BA in Computer Visualisation and Animation from Bournemouth University in Dorset, England.

From Bournemouth to Pixar Animation Studios

Jude will provide an insight into how she made her way from Bournemouth to her dream job in the Bay Area. Sharing lessons she learned along the way, Jude will discuss what it’s like living in America, working at Pixar Animation Studios, and animating on feature films. This presentation will also include a step-by-step look at her animation process on Inside Out and Incredibles 2.
